Devastating earthquake in Myanmar

On March 28, 2025, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 shook Myanmar. The epicenter was near Myanmar's second largest city, Mandalay. In addition to Mandalay, the cities of Sagaing and the capital Naypyidaw were also destroyed. So far, more than 3000 people have lost their lives and many others have been injured. The earthquake victims in Myanmar urgently need help!

We are very grateful that the friends of our partner organization "Thukha Myanmar" in Yangon, with whom we work in Myanmar, were spared by the earthquake.

They have started a project to directly help the survivors in Sagaing who have lost their loved ones. A team of 5 people went to Sagaing on April 8, 2025 and provided support to many earthquake victims.
